Magsaysay Bridge is named after the 7th president of the Philippines, Ramon Magsaysay. It is an arched-type steel bridge built during the early sixties that spans the mighty Agusan River. The aging bridge always undergoes major renovation for years but this bridge serve as a lone vital conduit of the city to the rest of Mindanao until its new more modern pair came at the city’s southern side, The Macapagal Bridge.
