This video is about how to reach to Mullayanagiri and Best time to Visit Mullayanagiri. Mullayanagiri is tallest Peak in Karnataka. It is located 18KM away from Chikmagalur. Mullayanagiri is located at an Height of 6300 ft from Sea level.

Mullayanagiri , will be mostly covered with fog and clouds during winter and rainy seasons , so September to December would be the best time period to visit Mullayanagiri.

Trek Permission is not required. There are no public transport to Mullayanagiri. Private vehicles and Jeeps are available from Chikmagalur. No Entry fees except for vehicle we need to pay Rs.20. Vehicle will go till top of the hill. We need to Park the vehicle at mullayangiri and reach the top by walking at 450 Steps. At Mullayanagiri vehicle parking fees is Rs.20. Remember One thing Liquor Cigarettes are prohibited at this places. There is a Check post and they will scrutinize your luggage.

We started our Journey from Kudremukh at early morning,on the way we saw the beautiful cloud formation in the valley of Western Ghats. We reached chikamagalur around 9.30AM there we took the room, put on our luggage and started our Journey to mullayanagiri. We had our breakfast at Town Canteen in Chikmagalur,then we started it takes 90 minutes journey from Chikmagalur to Mullayanagiri.
