Aerial View Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned is the seat of Catholic faith in Marikina City. Erected as parish in 1690; Dedicated to Our Lady of the Abandoned in 1791; and elevated as a diocesan shrine in 2007. The church serves as the sanctuary of the Canonically crowned image of the said Virgin Mary. This shrine-parish is under the ecclesiastical supervision of Diocese of Antipolo."
